Shack Dashboard – what can I work right now?
A calm, fullscreen-ready dashboard for the radio room: UTC clock, live DX spots, simple band activity, propagation hints, activations, weather and a personal reception map – written so newcomers understand it too.
Optimized for a screen in the shack.
The dashboard updates in the background. In fullscreen or kiosk mode the website header and footer are hidden so only the dashboard remains visible.
Settings are saved locally in this browser. Licence filter can be detected automatically from the callsign: DN9 = class N, DO1–DO9 and DA6 = class E, everything else = class A. You can still override it manually. DX data comes from the DXClusterAPI at dxcluster.afu-tools.de. POTA, SOTA and WWFF activations are additionally loaded from their respective live spot feeds; COTA remains a cluster fallback. Reception reports for the configured callsign are retrieved through the DA6IT server and cached for five minutes. Add ?kiosk=1 to the URL to start directly in dashboard-only mode.

No expert-only abbreviations.
Instead of showing raw space-weather numbers, the first version focuses on readable hints such as “Europe: 10–20m open”.
No page reload.
DX spots update in the background. New spots are highlighted briefly so the screen can stay open in the shack.
Only the dashboard remains.
Fullscreen and kiosk mode hide the normal site header, navigation and footer. Use ?kiosk=1 to start in display mode.
